Pregnant Tips for Couples
Getting pregnant doesn’t only involved women. Men must also do their part for them to be fertile as well. After all, it’s pointless to have sex if the woman is fertile and the man’s sperm isn’t good enough. Here are some tips to remember for couples to stay fertile and how to get pregnant:
Some reminders for women:
1. Be aware of your cycle and ovulation. Consult your doctor about your ovulation cycle and how to monitor it. With this, you would know the time when you’re most fertile to have sex.
2. Monitor your temperature. Our body is also changing its behavior, so it is best to keep track of all things that we are experiencing. This would serve as good reference for your doctor in giving you advice.
3. Take some vitamins that would increase your probability of getting pregnant and would be helpful for the baby. Make sure they are approved by your doctor
Something men have to think about:
1. Stay away from caffeine; it might be affecting your fertility. It is okay to have a cup or two a day but don’t go over this.
2. Keep your scrotum away from heat. Avoid placing laptops in your laps and boxers are better than briefs.
3. Take vitamins and some proper medication to maintain your fertility.
4. It is fun to have sex but it would be better to abstain once in a while. This would allow sperm to be renewed and have better penetrating power.
Some tips for the team:
1. Avoid taking in alcohol and smoking. They could affect your fertility and could increase the probability of miscarriages and improper baby development for women. Get some anti-oxidants into your system.
2. You two have to live a healthy lifestyle. This would include having a healthy diet and regular exercise. Don’t go into fast food chains as this will increase your weight. Women who are obese will have a difficulty in getting pregnant. Same is true with men; sperm produced might not be strong enough to survive before reaching the egg.
3. Drink lots of water. This will help cleanse the body of harmful substances that might lead to infertility. This would really be a must for pregnant women.
4. Avoid getting stress as this will affect the reproductive health. Just relax and take one step at a time. Very important for pregnant women; they’re hormones are already on the lose ‘cause they’re pregnant, wouldn’t want to add to this stress.
5. Stay away from any toxic chemicals and places as this will affect the development of your baby (for pregnant women). Make sure to consult your doctor regularly to ensure that you two are in the best of shape.
